I have lived in Midland for 45 years and raised 4 children in the public schools. I have been involved with education from the day I arrived in Midland, teaching special education, general education, and the gifted and talented throughout my career. I was awarded Teacher of the Year on two separate campuses, Fannin Elementary and Carver Center, as well as awarded the MISD Teacher of the Year and Region 18 Teacher of the Year. I have also been involved in all aspects of PTA, from committee chairs to President. My husband is a business owner and together we know the importance of a hard earned dollar. I will make sure that the Board is a good steward of your tax dollars while at the same time providing for the future of Midland.
